During 19 years there are several schoolbuildings, library's, schoolfurniture, childrenhomes and uniforms created by Lanka Lamai.
We think all the children have to go to school to get a change in the world. To realise this we have a very intensive contact with 38 suppliers in Sri-lanka, who make beautiful articles for us. We buy that from them for a fair price and sell it to the 400 Fair trade shops in the Netherlands, France, Germany and England.
After placing an order we pay 50% advance sothat they can start making the goods, after receiving the order we pay the balance.
Once in a year we go to visit all the suppliers in Sri-lanka.
Every time we talk about the workers, safety, salary, millieu and insurance.
Our wooden toys are made with CE mark and are safe for children, our toys are painted with non toxid paint.
